Lets get right to it, there are unlimited free training plans available with a quick internet search. So why pay for a training plan? The free training plans and schedules are designed to be generic, one size fits all. This, of course, is not the case. While these plans may be appropriate for some, they hardly meet the unique needs and goals of all individuals.
What makes us different? All of our training plans are custom built by RRCA certified running coaches to meet the specific needs and goals of our athletes. Your Chaos Theory Running Coach will work with you directly to gather all of the information needed to build a plan that will put you on track to hit your target. We work to build plans that are not only centered on the physical training but that also fit into your normal daily life. We get it, not everyone is a professional athlete, that doesn't mean that you don't deserve the same attention and personalization as a pro.
Still not sure about the commitment of a custom plan and working with a coach, no problem. We believe that running is the path to uncovering the athlete inside all of us and that your running journey will only make you happier and healthier. As such we strive to make lifelong running accessible to everyone. This is why we offer preset training plans via the FinalSurge platform. While the preset plans may be lacking in some of the personalization of our custom training plans, they are developed by certified running coaches to help get you started or continue growing as a runner. Our training plans can be delivered in any number of ways; printable PDF, interactive spreadsheet, through FinalSurge, or any other platform that fits. If you currently use a specific platform let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

Training Program I: (4-6 weeks)
The Training Program I is a short-duration program geared towards those just starting to run, returning to running after a long hiatus, or those recovering from injury. The intent of the Training Program I is to get the athlete moving towards an ultimate goal and, depending on the current level, may end with an event up to a 5K race. The Training Program I starts with an initial consultation where we gather all of the information needed to build a custom training plan. After the plan has been built, we will go over the details and expectations for the program. Midway through the program we will schedule a tune-up session where we can discuss progress and make any needed adjustments. Finally, we will follow-up at the end of the program to review your progress and discuss next steps.

Training Program II: (8-12 weeks)
The Training Program II is a mid-duration program geared towards those that are looking to take-on their first 5K to half-marathon distance race or for those looking to set a new PR at those distances. The intent of the Training Program II is to get the athlete to build the endurance and/or speed needed to reach their target. As with the Training Program I, Training Plan II starts with an initial consultation where we gather all of the information needed to build a custom training plan. After the plan has been built, we will go over the details and expectations for the program. Two times during the program we will schedule tune-up sessions where we can discuss progress and make any needed adjustments. Finally, we will follow-up at the end of the program to review your progress and discuss next steps.

Training Program III: (12-24 weeks)
The Training Program III is an advanced level program geared towards those that are looking to take-on their first marathon distance race or for those looking to set a new PR at the half-marathon or marathon distances. The Training Program III may also be used by those athletes that are self-motivated and looking to reach into the ultra-marathon distances; however, ultra-distance training is typically better accomplished through one of our Coaching Plans. The Training Program III is intended to enable the athlete to build the endurance and/or speed needed to reach their target while avoiding the pitfalls of over training and burn-out. As with the other Training Programs, Training Plan III starts with an initial consultation where we gather all of the information needed to build a custom training plan. After the plan has been built, we will go over the details and expectations for the program. Three or more times (depending on the duration and goals) during the program we will schedule tune-up sessions where we can discuss progress and make any needed adjustments. Finally, we will follow-up at the end of the program to review your progress and discuss next steps.
